I'm no expert, but that looks like a particularly bad photoshop job.

The shadow under her nose suggests a different light source to that in the rest of the shot. Or am I wrong?

No you're exactly right, it is a different light source to the rest. Look at how fast the rest of the light drops off compared to her face.
Of course, this could be photoshop.
However, given the brightness on her face, I'd take a guess at a softbox diffuser for her torso and a snoot or small honey comb on her face.
Might be wrong though, but easier than paying someone for hours in photoshop. It's only Zoo.

I think it’s been worked on. If anything, the skin’s been given a glow and a tweak. No glamour image doesn’t pass from photographer to print without work being done on it these days.

Absolutely, but my point was that simply because there's a shadow falling contrary to the other shadows in a photo from a studio shoot shouldn't alarm anyone. That's just good light control. The sort of rapid adjustments to things like light fall off and a judicious use of the spot healing brush are pretty standard for any portraiture. This isn't gritty documentary work after all.

Saw Jane Hill on TV the other day and forgot to post... Has she 'had 'em done', or have wardrobe excelled themselves? :D
