Fernando Alonso: F1 drivers lack on-track respecthttp://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula-one/18005760Rough translation: I'm not getting enough respect, now that I'm qualifying in the midfield positions.

How many drivers didn't complete the in-lap of the last GP?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

several cars have stoopped on track or cut back into the pits both after races and in qualifying over the last year. Were they penalised?
Seems to have it in for mclaren, however they should know better by now

So far, the 2012 season has been a bit meh for me. Not been bothered by any of it, frankly, which is a shame because I quite enjoyed the past two years. Just for a laugh, and because the Beeb is covering the Spanish GP, Best Beloved and I turned on to watch the start. Who is that new commentator with verbal diarrhoea? Does he ever stop to take a breath? We didn't even finish the first lap before we switched off.

Engrossing race, with an epic result!
Maldonado drove a fantastic race - thoroughly deserved win. Nice to see Williams back on the top of the podium.
Difficult day for Red Bull and McLaren in particular though.

Button didn't even appear to try defending. Nice to see there is still no pattern forming in the championship.

Yes. Brilliant race and a really good season overall so far for me. 5 races, 5 different winning drivers and 5 different winning teams! A refreshing change from the past few years. Good day for Williams though. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?3gbee3

If people didn't see the BBC forum, there was a not-insubstantial fire inside the Williams garage afterwards. Apparently related to the discharging of a KERS unit.

This page has the BBC footage from the back of the garage, and here's the link to the bit of the Forum when it was live.

No serious injuries by the sound of it. That's the important part.
