Yep, it's one of a group we have that regularly raid the bird feeders. Unfortunately, I haven't got any ammo for my AK-47, or I'd have turned it into Swiss cheese long before now. When I get completely fed up, I stick some food to a small block of C4

I take it then the local squidger population is illiterate, so you can leave signs out to warn the birds.

I saw the one you took with just the tail light in colour on Flickr. I really like it.

Who Lives in a House Like This?Found this on the sofa last week, obviously blown in through the window, I know the pics aren't great quality, but I've never seen anything like it before. There's a hole in its back where it looks like something either tunnelled in or tunnelled out, and it got me wondering. What do you think?

Could be part of the wasp family, something similar to a female ichneumon wasp?

If it has three "prongs" at the rear end, it's probably Rhyssa persuasoria, a female ichneumon wasp.

Yep, we had a scan through tons of pictures of them last night and that seems to be the most likely thing, I just can't believe I've never seen one before Now not sure what to do with the empty shell of a body.

I've just got my first roll of Ektar 100 back. I'm in love. It's gorgeous. I'm going to shoot lots of this, I can tell.
