kinda need to see how "normal" humans actually respond/behave or what they are like etc when getting back in touch with a friend you not seen in i.e a few years,

I got a phonecall from my very awesome asian friend who I haven't seen in 2 years I think as soon as I saw the missed call my adrenalin has shot up and still up right now, I feel like I want to throw up in nerves and excitement :( cos I know she is at her parents visiting same town as mine, so hopefully I can plan a meetup but Im worried incase I come across as "awkward" seeing as im so used to not really speaking to people these days, but really really badly need to her  Just need to compare myself with others I guess

Bratty, you know how to talk to people, stop freaking out about it and grow a pair.

Maybe ask her how she's been, and tell her what you've been up to. If she's a friend then she already knows how weird you are, so I wouldn't worry about coming across as normal.

Im never "normal" with my friends, thats not the problem its just I dont think I will come across the way I want to, ever since losing that job hence taking that colossal sized confidence hit, its quite frustrating :(

If I look back say for example Ill say a number out of 100 and thats confidence levels,

before job 40%-70% usually on a "70%" confidence not great but "comfortable enough"

with friends 90-100%

alone 50%

getting the best job ever 200% confidence

losing it minus 200% and never have seemed to recovered :( If something annoys me its a "hit" and I always used to "climb back up" only this time I got knocked down so bad that I feel permanantly "maimed"

so nowadays alone 100% confidence, people 0%

so its "inappropiate" for me to see people if Im annoyed at something, hard to explain :(

also worried about if I dont show that im happy to see them again then that isint "appropiate" too, did explain though that all the excitement is stomached ready to explode or something, prob not making any sense, worked up

It's okay, we know.
We accept you for the way you are.

Oh and as for a confidence hit when you get sacked, everyone has had that, I've had that, it knocked me down for months; but that's life, when life hands you lemons, you tell life to go [LIFTED] itself and go and find some better fruit somewhere else in the world.

Brataccas you worry too much.

Just "go for it" - you don't want to miss the opportunity and then look back with regret later on.

I lack this when I should heed that so many times and have regretted not going for it :( and have missed the chance of seeing her as I misunderstood text

In other news I've just asked out a girl
