Surely ruining Bohemian Rhapsody is unpossible? :P

Clicky....If You Dare

What is it? It’s blocked here in Switzerland.

Suggs’ covers of The Beatles’ I’m Only Sleeping and Twat and Garfunkel’s Cecelia take some beating, then there’s the whole Shatner/Nimoy canon.

Some of the best covers ever [original in brackets]: Helen Love - Girl About Town [The Jam]; Cinerama - Groovejet (if this ain’t love) [Spiller + Sophie Ellis-Bextor]; New Order - Isolation [Joy Division]; Roxy Music - Jealous Guy [John Lennon]; The Fall - Mr Pharmacist [Jeff Nowlen]; This Mortal Coil - Song to the Siren [Tim Buckley]; The Fall - Victoria [Kinks]; Broken Family Band - Diamonds in the Mine [Leonard Cohen]; The Wedding Present - Back For Good [Take That].

Well there is a risk you could make it even more pretentious and long-winded...

Blink 182 covered another girl another planet, originally by The Only Ones (sorry no vid, cant find decent one off youtube right now, and its not on last.fm  )

personally, i quite like both versions, maybe the blink one a little more, cos its moar rocky, but im sure some of the more wizened among us may have slightly different feelings
