Wait until you see Windows 7 ! It looks identical to Vista.

*Ahem* Edited.

I just bought a PowerMac G5 >.<

Windows 7 is not identical to Vista. You can turn off the side bar in Vista which makes it look a bit more like Win 7, but it's still not identical.

Windows 7 is better than Vista.

Now, where were we...? Ah! Yes! Macs! Lovely Macs... :D

I've always wanted one to play with, but even the cheapest second hand mini is too much to spend on a whim and I simply don't have room for another tower.

What I really want is to run OS X in a VM. I wouldn't mind paying £80 or whatever it is for the disk, but of course it's not legal. I did try one I "borrowed" from a man with a parrot, but it was so slow it never actually finished rendering the fonts on the dock.

I've only ever had one customer with Macs, and that's out of several thousand. That was a well known stationary supplier who have about 1000 PCs and 2 Macs. I only know about the Macs because they take the server down when they try and browse a Windows share. I think they use some kind of brute-force discovery method, AKA DOS :?

Linux_user, it's always the way, you start off with one Mac and just test the water but then you're hooked and go looking for more high-end fixes.

JJ, have you got a spare hard drive you could try a native Hackintosh installation on? You will find that the results you get are much better and you could use a retail OS X disk. I'm not going to go in to any more detail here but there are various sources on the internet that will give you all the information you need. Check out insanelymac. Sorry if I've gone too far and broken any rules but hopefully that's OK.

Depends if it’s an air brick or not, I suppose.
