sold rare book on ebay, got over £50 for it, buyer doesn't pay and I waited 3 days. so I sent PM and as soon as I PM him he pays is this a buyer I should be aware of? its as though he needs to be spoonfed on what to do or something, was very close to second chance offering to 2nd guy it just does not make sense Im thinking I should do recorded as I don't trust people like this

After four days you can raise a case with ebay, and they'll contact him.
Similar thing happened to me - I waited around six days, but he paid within an hour of ebay's contact.

Forgetting to pay has happened to me and I'm normally on top of things like that, I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

If you suspect he's iffy, make sure you send it record delivery. You don't want him claiming he never got it.
