ood luck.. just dont do the swordfish way of "pressure" coding

I'd like the bit without the gun ;) ... might get a bit distracted though

Prof.... it's LIVE coding, not do it and send us it 24 hours later

One thing I would probably say RE the live coding (with my vast experience of never having been in a programming interview  ) is don't be afraid to use pen and paper for at least the first few minutes depending on what it is.

I am sure there will be lots of people who will dive in and start trying to pull bits of code together but a more structured approach (IMHO) would give off a more organised impression to your interviewers. Especially if you can then code and get everything right first time rather than hacking at code to get it right.

I did pen and paper for my other exam, waiting for info on how that test went actually.... no idea how long it will take them to get back to me

Treat it like homework - post the test on here and ask us to do it for you. ;)

Just don't ask me. ;)

Really getting stressed about it now, had a look what they expect to ask and written down there are 2 pages of topics  Mostly algorithms, data containers etc

Luckily I have mostly done one page in uni and working on the other areas as I go to try and expand my knowledge

It sound tough.

I think I really messed up my chances for the job I went for the other day, so it looks like I will work for the company I accepted the offer for which I'm really looking forward to now.

If the others offer me the job (which I'll be amased if they do) then I'll have some real thinking to do. Since I accepted that offer I have started to really look forward to it, and in a way I hope I'm not offered the other opportunity.

If I have a choice between two, I think there will always be a part of me that wishes I had taken the other option.
