That could be your indicator right there. If you're intolerant to some types of fat (pastry particularly gets my Dad) then it could explain why you had such a violent reaction. Quite a few people I know have 'day-after' fat intolerance issues and if you gorged more than you would normally consume then it might be the reason.

Unless I read that wrong and you hadn't got round to eating any of that stuff yet?

Hope you feel better soon. When I had a bout of tummy bug a few years ago and couldn't eat anything I ended up laying on sofa watching cooking programs. Silly me.
