| Post subject: | COD 4 problems |
OK, I have a major issue with COD 4. I can install it and it plays fine for a while. However, after a while I will start getting errors when trying to play the single player I get:  and if by some miracle I don't get that error, I get "Application failed to start because side-by-side configuration is incorrect". I've tried reinstalling to no avail. Google hasn't turned up much. Can anyone help? |

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 was causing the problem - currently having to temporarily disable it whilst I play, not an ideal solution. |

Can you not set up an exception rule? Some Antivirus softwares let you specify files to ignore when running to prevent issues like this |

Indeed, rule now set up - the option wasn't easy to find I must say. |
