Can someone explain that to me? I know it as options that exist or don't within games :?

With most console games you might get two or three different controller setup options (if you get any).

Those options are then predefined by the developers.

This will allow you to reconfigure the controller not on the game level but on the controller level.

When you press the A button (for instance) it will pass the B button to the game and the game will deal with it like you pressed the B button.

Etc...

I imagine you can probably set various configurations per different game.

Ah, good, whoever decided lower triggers should be used instead of the top buttons for aiming and shooting... Well, they need shot.

Someone tried to shoot them but they kept using the top buttons instead of the lower triggers ;)
