I've avoided the Nintendo consoles for a while. After the SNES and N64 I've always thought they went down hill quite a bit. After seeing the games available I went and bought a Wii U today with Mario Kart (bundled) and Super Mario 3D World. I have to say, I think it's probably the best console I've ever owned. The handheld game pad thing might be a bit gimmicky but the fact that you can play with the TV turned off and just using the handheld is awesome. I can also use the handheld as a tv remote to turn it back on if I want. Or put my Xbox with a film or something on the TV while playing something. It's genius. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought a Wii U with the proceeds from selling the PS3 and G27. I was intending it to be for me originally but Emily reached an age when she started to enjoy playing Wii at her friends house so I decided to give it to her for her birthday. It's great. I grabbed some Wii games for it too (cheap and compatible!) and I enjoy playing it as much as she does. Also, Mario Kart is bloody brilliant! |
