Is rather have better textures, advanced AI, bigger levels and more happening in screen then paring these things back to hit a console gamer pleasing 1080/60.

I said when the new generation of consoles was due to be released that 1080/60 was unrealistic for all games given the amount of hardware you need to run BF4 at full detail on PC at 1080/60 for example.
