Or 'this gen', you know what I mean... Since I'm acquiring a cheap PS4, I thought I'd ask :)

I've only ordered Wolfenstein so far since I can get a bunch of stuff cheap come the time or through Plus.

I'll be getting the new wolfenstein when I build my new pc next week, but as that isn't really a next gen console I'll go now :-)

Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.

Chances are any new PC games are console-applicable too :D

I can recommend Don't Starve, Child of Light, Strike Suit Zero, Infamous : Second Son, Killzone Shadow Fall,Assassins Creed 4..

Obviously personal tastes etc, but all of those I've seen and were objectively great games, even if I didn't actually like them all.

Don't Starve reads a bit infuriating lol.

I like the look of CoL :D

SSZ, I'm just no good at that sort of dogfighting game

I:SS, I'll buy eventually since I've got the whole series, but truth be told I've never paid more than 8 quid for any of them.

I've never gotten on with the KZ or AC games. KZ always felt like wading through treacle, and AC bores me to tears.

Many thanks for the list -I'll certainly try DS and CoL!

Have there been any PS4 demos? There aren't any listed in the obvious way... mind you, Thief is only listed for the PS3, and as far as I know the Yanks got a demo for the PS4. If true, well, it is Sony Europe...

IIRC if you go to the PSN website, you can use the tick box filters on the left hand side to just show demos.

Rather than start a new thread, anyone here using an online rental service? They don't exist as stores round here any more

Oh, nearly forgot, enjoying Strider!

It would appear that Sony don't have a clue what they're trying to sell (I know, you're shocked). You've got the PS3 PSN store showing and selling PS4 stuff only in some instances, not all. And even that's prone to change. The website suffers from similar problems IME.

The PS4 store actually has the Thief demo and so on. Now, if they could get around to making the site display like it wasn't entirely made of something Adobe rejected...

I'm trying a company called Boomerang (their site needs work!) - they're sending me Infamous, should be here tomorrow. I'll post how it goes...

Infamous arrived in a lovely bronze sealable envelope and I've been playing it all day. It's almost exactly the same as the others but the new powers do make for a better game. Everything's generally better.

Forgot about this thread... Boomerang have been excellent so far, and that's with shipping to NI, so should be even quicker on the mainland. I'll be installing Watch Dogs later.

I expect "next-gen games" does no refer to those abominations that look they have been spewed out of a SNES. :-)

I generally don't care so long as the game plays OK, though the fake 'retro look' with graphics that would have your eye out can fcuk right off.
