If the pictures on Amazon Germany are anything to go by, the PS3 "slim" is fugly.

I wouldn't give a stuff personally cos if I ever get one it'll just go into a cabinet anyway :)

It's the price I'm more interested in, now all it needs is the PS2 BC, far as I'm concerned...

Never used the PS3's backwards compatibility. The last thing I wanted to play on a £400 console was PS2 games!

I've got quite a collection of PS2 and PS1 games that I play on mine, but they're slowly being replaced by PS3 equivalents - still waiting for a Cricket game though!

Was also glad to see FFVII on the PSN.

My collection of PS2 games (I'm still playing them) is just 'too big to fail' ;)

I still go back to a lot of the shooters and beat em ups :)

I never had a PS2 so there's a whole back catalogue of exclusives i'd be interested in.

For example the God of War series since i'm a fan of the hacknslash action/adventure games and am looking forward to GoW3.

Also i have DMC3 on the PC but the controls are rather iffy and not *quite* as responsive so i'd buy it again on the PS2 if i had the opportunity to play it.

Other than that i don't feel there are any *must* have exclusives for the PS3 and any *must have* multiplatform games i tend to buy for the PC or 360 (depending on genre) because i prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 one.

Anyhow, went out today and bought my first game for the console :D, Heavenly Sword. Played the demo and it seemed rather good so i think i'll get to try it out during the week =].
