If you pre-order, you can get the original cast of Alien on board. http://metro.co.uk/2014/07/09/alien-iso ... s-4792286/ Not entirely sure if I’m going to plonk down cash for a game that’s not out of development yet, and has certainly not been reviewed. Given the track record of the franchise, I’m not sure if I want to gamble the price of a new game. That said, every time I watch a new trailer for it, it feels right. The Alien movies at the best aren’t the hung-ho marines shooting everything, it’s the shadows, the sound, the claustrophobia… the monster under the bed.

Jesus - some of them look old. Hardly surprising, really, but still great that they’re involved. Seeing the CGI versions of them is odd - they look a little too smooth - and there’s that whole “uncanny valley” going on. I think it’s worse because they’re models of people we know from the film. That said, it’s good to have authentic voices in the film. But no Ian Holm? Boo....

Ooh, I'd like that in 2560x1600. [edit] Found it in 1920x1080. Doesn't look as good as I'd hoped. From what I've read, many of the positive reviews failed to pick up on shocking AI issues. I'd still like to try out, for the atmosphere.
