Crysis 2 free to EU PS Plus subs next month

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/37 ... ext-month/

I didn't see what the fuss was with the first - short of a sniper rifle, you pretty much had to be in people's faces. And the suit was next to useless then :?

Optional PS3 firmware 4.31 released

I agree with the comments on Singstar too - that can do one, Sony's far too bloody fond of adding crap nobody asked for

Not in any useful sense it isn't. To play Singstar you need songs. Isn't the app itself just a shop window to the song library, so until you buy some songs it's effectively useless?

This sounds like a way to push song sales which probably can only come from the Sony store.

I hate the way it's the first thing you bloody see now and have to navigate away from.

I've just realised I've been switching the PS3 on via the pad as usual before switching the TV on; does it still give that annoying epilepsy warning after all the updates? That's a fcuking downer introduced in the system's twilight years

Sony has announced November's batch of PlayStation Plus content.

Crysis 2 will be available as a free download for Plus members from November 7, as will Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and puzzle game Cubixx HD.

Bulletstorm, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Just Cause 2 and the original Borderlands are currently free to download, although the latter pair will be removed from the PS Plus Instant Game Collection on November 7.

A range of discounts on full games and DLC will be announced as the month progresses. Sony also said it has lined up a "critically acclaimed AAA action-adventure title" for December's headline PS Plus game.

The platform holder has confirmed plans to extend PlayStation Plus to Vita this month. Details on the Vita Plus service will be revealed in "the coming weeks".

It didn't look like a success either from the comments.

EU PS Plus update: Batman: Arkham City, Limbo headline December content

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... eneral-RSS

Even if you're not a comics person, City's a good game. Limbo's good but infuriating. Vanquish is just over-hyped bollocks that only a vocal minority bought (into).

There's a certain section of the gaming media who worship everything certain Japanese games developers do. Despite the fact the games in question generally sell very poorly. Vanquish is a typical example of that.
