I had a look, it's actually pretty good. In fact, it's quite a bit better then the rebuilt shop on the PS3. It doesn't queue downloads the way the XBox one does (yet, I assume they're looking into it) but you effectively buy the stuff there and then just click 'go' n the PS3 to get it.
Should have happened years ago mind but it's a pretty decent job they've made of it, which for Sony is rare enough of itself.

There's all sorts of sales and offers on the store, and as usual it's mostly all sorts of crap, but take a look if you've got credit to be used up...

Retro City Rampage hits EU PSN this week (and I need to try the US demo I downloaded months ago) http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... eneral-RSS... PSN store patch http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... eneral-RSSIt should never have been released in that state originally, it's like a school project currently.

Coincidentally just before it goes live in the States... TBH I pretty much don't access it direct on the PS3 any more, I do all my shopping via the web shop.

Having downloaded the patch things are slightly quicker, but you know, whoo for the speeded-up shambles You still have to endlessly confirm that, yes, you'd like to do something simple like download a demo.

Maintenance http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... anuary-17/I think Sony maintenance must be the technology equivalent of boarding up the windows.

I'm seriously considering the Borderlands 2 season pass. £10.50 (with PS+ discount) for four pieces of DLC which generally cost £8 each - and are actually decent blocks of content - seems like a proper bargain to me. Jon

Are they story missions? I tend to avoid add-ons otherwise

There's a plot in each but some are more involved than others. Captain Scarlett has a good story, Torque not so much. Haven't played Hammerlock yet but it looks in the middle. There a plenty of quests in each - you have to remember Borderlands is basically Diablo with FPS trappings - so there's plenty for a 1p gamer to do but you might find it getting repetitive if you're not into it.

Skyrim DLC breakthrough http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... t-for-ps3/... Sony to abandon the dual-shock? http://www.computerandvideogames.com/38 ... n-for-ps4/The only thing wrong with the current DS is you need more purchase on the sticks and triggers, it sure as fcuk doesn't need any of the Vita bollocks or a screen. Seen the price of a current DS? I predict they could make it look like Jonny Ive designed it and it'll still be a monument to gimmicky tragedy.
