Finished Uncharted 4. I won't ruin a single thing but the ending was ridiculously predictable. Almost everything is signposted a mile back in this game.

Nearly every gunfight had the same set-up and there was so much time between them that you still hoped one was around the corner!

The puzzles were either simplistic or utterly infuriating... it may actually be the worst game in the series overall.

PS4 Doom demo - It's brilliantly handled, sort of Halo with a lot more character. There's never a dull moment and even when you're moving on you're expecting a jump scare.

The only downside I can think of is the usual overload of 'press XYZ for a description and tutorial of something that used to just work'.

ION I can't leave MK XL alone.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli - Metal Slug-style game, great fun. Got it for £4 IIRC.

Still playing Kick Off 2 on the Amiga and Kick Off Revival on the PS4.

For £7.99 from the Playstation online shop thing, (whatever it's called) I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. If you've got a PS4 buy it... NOW!

In case anyone is unaware, yes, I have become a sort of Kick Off Revival evangalist, as this game in particular, and it's designer, Dino Dini, seems to have attracted a whole lot of hate, and I have made it my mission to fight back.

:D

£7.99 is a lot more than I paid for the original :).

I've been playing Adr1ft, which is probably as close to being in space as I'll actually get. I thought it would be quite restful but it's actually rather tense. I do hate the 'substitute a letter for a number' thing though (see th3if) and to be honest I can't see there being much chance of a sequel, which makes it all the sillier in this case.

If you've got a PS4 I can always try to show you KOR using share play, if that will help you decide.

King of the Fighters demo - how do you make a game that's worse than the 16 bit original from the year dot? No real hit detection, characters can literally run past each other, combo instructions are bizarre...

Militant - You're an ant in an insect shooter war... it's not bad, but even the demo is loaded with bosses you know will just get ridiculously tough later. It's basically for Metal Slug fans (heh). For all the chat of PSN democratising developers, most games are just retro graphics shooters. And overpriced at that, usually.

Broken Sword 5 - Point and click investigation. Decent, but a bit dated, and some of the puzzles are absolutely impossible without a guide. For instance... randomly guess the name Aladdin from about 12 random letters without a real hint. And say you have a piece of machinery, good luck spotting the bit you're supposed to hover over!

I'll persist with it (PSN download), but it'll be deleted off ASAP.

And I'm still playing it on my Amiga A1200, as well as on the PC, using the Amiga Forever emulator, as well as Kick Off Revival on the PS4.

As Battlefield 4 was dirt cheap recently, then shortly afterwards EA made all DLC available for free, I've mainly been playing that.
