Had a major Starcraft 2 session on Saturday and finished Wings of Liberty and am a fair bit through Heart of the Swarm now.
At some point I may even investigate the online play thingy although I have a horrible feeling that will expose just how god awful I am up against a real opponent.

Titan Attacks - Space Invaders rip-off.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 Trumpton UKIP edition (PS3) - It looks amazing, but I wasn't about to give myself RSI just to get the timing right to pull off what used to be a simple move. The CPU also spams moves until you counter, does something different, then goes back to spamming the move again

Dragon Age: Inquisition

It's the first in the series that I've played and I love it!

Your character is one of a team that you select (four people including you). They are AI characters and follow you around. Also, you can jump into them and control them instead (for instance you can only pick locks as a rogue, you can only break through fire barriers as a frost mage, etc...).

It's all third person.

The best bit though is the tactical view. When you enter a fight you can either carry on in third person and the rest of the team fight using AI (you can set certain criteria on the AI, defend player, be aggressive, etc...) or you can enter tactical view.

Tactical view stops time and pulls out into a top down view. You can then give orders to each character and use the RT to advance time. So you can position your tank in close combat with the enemies and bring the squishes further back. You can tell each character who to fight and which attacks to use etc...

It's excellent.

Played it last night. It's very good, it's just it runs like a three-legged dog on the PS4

EVERYTHING stutters - combat, cutscenes, audio... Fcuking disgrace. It was a rental game and I had to return it before I snapped it in two.

Rogue Legacy - Ghosts and Goblins difficult, and therefore pointless to most.

Lords of the Fallen - Really well put together game... Except for the combat. Which is central. Involves you continually circling heavy attacks before landing your own. Mess it up, start that exact same fight for the fifth time. Genius.

Tomb Raider: Temple of Osiris - Good so far, an indie game almost, a mix of action and puzzle elements.

Apotheon - Simplistic, brilliant little action game because of it's responsive controls, free on Plus.

So I went back to this... Got to a timed section where you've to make a bomb leap with the use of another bomb, all whilst holding four different buttons, letting them go, then holding them again whilst trying to keep the right sequence each time. The slightest mistake fcuks up your timing, assuming you can go Mystic Meg and find the bomb's ideal leaping spot in the first place. I'd have sent the game back if I'd bought it, that's just lazy BS.

GBA Batman: Brave and the Bold - inventive litre beat em up that uses the show's humour.

GBA Rise of the Silver Surfer - Missed it's calling as a joypad smasher on the NES...

GBA TMNT 3 - Impossible in the later stages, ruining a perfectly good game.

Seem to have sussed out Cities: Skylines so now have money pouring in, everything unlocked and only need to bother playing if I want to fill the map.
