Project Morpheus was built into PS4 from the start - we just didn't know it

http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/th ... rt-1247513

You should still be able to turn the silly thing off, surely?

I would say that Morpheus piques my interest a little. I'd love to experience it before I decide to plonk down cash, and I'd certainly want to be sure of good game support from it.

Also - could I use it for my stereoscopic photography?

FAIL.

Why even introduce it in the first place except as a money-making scam or an attempt at one.

It probably never was actually the case, just some marketing drone somewhere phrased something badly. The rule with PS+ stuff has always been if it's free, you lose it if your PS+ subscription lapses but if you pay even a penny for it, you get to keep it for ever. That's been true ever since the service started on PS3.

That is my understanding, and it appears in the description of any product that you buy from PS+

Rules are there to be broken, and you'll notice that Bethesda's online Elder Scrolls game won't require a PS+ sub to play online. The rule has always been that you need a PS+ sub to play online with a PS4.

I expect the rules will be less rigid as the PS4 matures.

Sale

I'll take a proper look on the store later on, but nothing stands out there.

If you go on to the store today... you'll see a Sky NOW TV Movies orsomesuch download. I'd already used this previously, so I deleted the old app, installed the new one and chanced my arm...

I got a month's free access and £10 of PSN credit on it's way ;) (I also created all new log-in details!)

Batman games discounted on PlayStation Store
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/46 ... ion-store/

I'd maybe buy Injustice at that price cos I've got credit, but it's showing up at £30!

The first two games are definitely worth a punt at that price unless there's a disc pack of them or something.

Certainly like the look of the PS3 games - haven't played a basketball game in years but they used to be great.
