Yup, I was expecting a picture something along the lines of the Elven cloak that Sam used to hid Frodo in LOTR.

Then I read that the bump was 1 micrometre in height :D

I'd have trouble seeing that even without the cloak!

So, the answer is to make the thing you want to hide 1 micrometer in size, and then throw the cloak over it.
