Still don't see why, at the moment... Safari and Chrome are too alike for the user. The separate process per tab is interesting, but generally I haven't had stability problems with Firefox or Safari for a couple of years now...

The inclusion of add-ins for Chrome might be a more important step forward...

But until either of them get NoScript (or an equivalent), I won't be swapping away from Firefox - I found "Click to Flash" for Safari, so half of the problems with using Safari have gone, now if I can get control of scripting in either of them, I'll give them a whirl... I must admit, I prefer Safari in terms of interface to Firefox, but the lack of NoScript negates any advantages Safari might have in terms of UI or performance.

Unfortunately, not really a surprise. :(

It is over 3 years since Apple stopped production of the PowerPC Macs, I think we will see more and more new products being Intel only. Especially for developers who are developing their "first" app for OS X...

Edit: Looking at the list of extensions, there are 2 Flash blockers in there, so that is a good start. AdBlock Pro is also, surprisingly*, in the list. Xmarks is also on there, so hopefully all bookmarks from Firefox or other Chrome instances will be synced.

* After all, Google are an advertising company and that is where they make their money...

Edit 2: Chrome Extensions are currently Windows only... :?
