Anyone know what this 'growth policy' actually is, or is it just something Gordon's aspiring to?

He seems to be at odds with his own Treasury if nothing else:

"We've said that the economy will grow by 1.5% next year and more people are moving towards our position," he said.

Mr Brown's assessment of the rate of recovery contrasts with the Treasury's forecasts for annual growth of 1.25%.

And the IMF has made a prediction of 0.9%.

I think that there may be one or two quarters of growth but the problem is that banks are still not lending so the recovery will be very short before we slip back into recession which will be even worse once the Tories start cutting government spending.
