Any party causes a clusterf*ck after so many years in power. At times, I think the US fixed two terms for the president should be applied here. You and your cabinet have 8 years. After that, it’s a clean slate.

At this stage, they'll you anything to get more votes. There should be some kind of immovable law that means anything a party promises it will do when in power must be carried out (and within six months of going into power). That would hopefully stop some of the damn lies.
