There was a guy from over here that was arrested for "extreme pornography" as well, not long ago.
That was the first time I'd ever heard of this particular category of pornography.

I had heard of this sort of thing being proposed but didn't know if it actually went anywhere - it sounds more like a way of bulking up a case against the defendant than anything else...

So most of his sentence was for being a drugs baron. Would he have been arrested for porn if his house wasn't searched for drugs?

Well, it's not really extreme porn is it?

I mean it's bestiality, that's illegal. It's the same as when they talk about child porn, it's not, it's child abuse. I hate the way that they make any link between abuse and sex. Bestiality and child abuse have nothing to do with sex, they're more to do with control issues and violence.

Porn is just adults shagging, AFAIK that isn't illegal. *

Edit: * Well, not in the UK although in some odd States in America it's illegal to perform oral sex. Not that those laws are enforced.
