The good bank bad bank model is fair enough but I reckon that this move is because the government are desperate to want to be seen to be doing the right thing for banks and re listing it. The problem is that they should have broken the bank up a year ago. The real issue now is what crap will be left with the government and how long before it is eliminated, and how much this will cost the taxpayers overall.
