Quote:
A Parliamentary aide to Baroness Scotland has resigned over the Attorney General's refusal to stand down after she employed an illegal immigrant.
Baroness Scotland has said she will not resign. In a letter to the Prime Minister, Wirral West MP Stephen Hesford said: "My decision comes about because as an aide to the Law Officers, whilst I have great personal regard for the Attorney General, I cannot support the decision which allows her to remain in office."

There is some hope. Not for Brown and the other leading Labour lights, so what do you have to do to resign now days in politics. Be caught on camera having carnal knowledge of a dead animal whilst decapitating a child... though that would probably be onlyn against the spirit of the law!!

I think it's easy to be honourable when you're in an unpaid position.

That said, good on him.
