I agree and think that, for once, the TUC has made a fairly good decision. Personally though, I wish that the FBU's motion had been carried calling for a boycott of all Israel's exports. However I would also back a boycott of Palestinian exports.

Oh and for the record, before the stupid "racist"-type comments come in, I am Semitic myself; my mother is eligible for an Israeli passport.

The reason I agree is that, being Semitic I want to sit both sides down on the naughty step, remove the teddy they're fighting over and bang their heads together. The whole thing just makes me feel so sad. :( :x

So what do you think?

i asked a friend of mine who happens to be a Muslim and asked
you have so much in common yet you hate each others guts

he replied
family are allowed to fight

it changed my whole perception of the conflict …

I'm trying to think of any Palestinian exports...

As for having so much in common, it's no surprise. After Judaism came Christianity and after Christianity came Islam. They all share different aspects but all seem to focus on the differences.

It was interesting watching the Kate Humble programme. It was an eye opener seeing Christian Palestinians playing bagpiped renditions of Christmas carols while other Muslim Palestinians were being called to prayer at the Mosque.

It was all very harmonious.

That's the thing, it could be, all the religions have commonalities.
