Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's restaurant group is facing collapse, putting up to 1,300 jobs at risk.

Jamie's Italian chain have lined up KPMG to handle an administration process, expected to be announced later.

Were had one of his Trattorias here for a while. The food was done well, but not that spectacular.

and that was the issue

the food was OK and I have eaten there a couple of time - but a bit pricey compared to similar chains so nothing that made me say "We must go there again"

Food was always excellent at the one here in Nottingham.

However I've not been for a couple of years now.

We went to the one in Birmingham a few years back. Walked in off the street. Food was okay. Nothing special and certainly couldn't says it was any better than Zizzis. Probably worse than Carluccios. Tried to go to another Jamies more recently and it was by appointment only. Never thought it was high-end enough to require booking in advance.
