Baby will have to stay in the corner now.

Found out at 2.30 this morning and it's so sad the big c got him.

He will always be a legend.

Umm, what? I take it this is a film reference?

[edit] google to the rescue - Dirty Dancing.

Wow! are there really people who don't know about Dirty Dancing.

Look, spaghetti arms. This is my dance space. This is your dance space. I don't go into yours, you don't go into mine.

Looks like it, just as there are people who don't know about Withnail and I.

;) 8-)

What? WHAT?!?
Is that a not so thinly guarded reference to indicate CC is filmically bereft of having viewed said title?

You may say that, but I couldn't possibly comment.

I'm sure I've seen it, well most of it at least, at some point. I just can't quote from it verbatim. :P

I've never seen Dirty Dancing all the way through. I've caught bits of it, but never sat down and watched it.

I bought Withnail and I, as it was raved about, but I gave up on it long before the end. :?

RIP Patrick. The big C seems to be having a heck of a good year! :(

He made some great films over the years, but DD wasn't one that really appealed to me, at the time. I will probably watch it this week, when it is inevitably put out on one or other TV station.

Agreed.

For some reason I though you meant Donnie Darko when you said "DD". Also a very good film althought he part he played wasn't as romantic as the Dirty Dancing role.

RIP

Roadhouse was a great film.

I loved Point Break too.

A couple of people at work have admitted they've never seen Dirty Dancing. Where have they been? It's a fantastci movie and did you know it was the first video that sold 1 million copies? Not bad for a film they thought no-one would see.

*sings* I had the time of my lifeeeeeeeeeeeee

OK I'll get my coat ;)

I have to admit I've never sat through the whole of Dirty Dancing either.
I also have never seen Mamma Mia, despite it apparently selling more copies than there are televisions in Britain. Do I detect a pattern?

Road House and Point Break are classics, and he was good in Donnie Darko.

It's a real shame, he came across as quite humble and a gentlemen.

I bought Mamma Mia for my Mum at Xmas. She raved about it but I thought it was just OK. Abba will always be absolutel legends and it's not the same when other people sing their songs.

I was really moved by some of the things that have been said about Patrick. A truly wonderful man... he will be missed.
