Sad news...it looked like he has making progress with the lung cancer too. I've loved his very recognisable style from the days of Major Eazy and Rat Pack from Battle Picture Weekly and on through the pages of 2000AD. Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog were amongst his most famous creations but he did many others too. RIP. |

He had this style which was quite soft, using curves and shading which seemed at odds at times with the subject matter. However, crucially, he made it work. |
