Quote:
Bodyguard has been as huge hit for BBC One - and now it's coming to Netflix.

The streaming network has acquired the rights to show the gripping thriller outside the UK and Ireland.

However, it's not the BBC that has done the deal. In fact, the show has been sold to Netflix by ITV Studios.

I spotted another oddity on Netflix a few days ago. Remember ITV’s Sharpe series? Well, on Netflix, the programmes’ thumbnails have a BBC logo on them, not the ITV one. I had to do some detective work, as I remember watching the whole lot on ITV a few years back when they were repeated. Turns out that in the USA, BBC America showed them.

I bough my mum the boxset of Sharpe for her birthday last year.
Great series.
