"These tests do not suggest any suspicion of deliberate misconduct but seek to assess the possibility of a potential medical condition which would give Semenya an unfair advantage over her competitors."

Hmm. I wonder what other medical conditions could be considered "unfair". I'm pretty sure that some people are genetically predisposed to be better at various things. I'm better at maths than running, and I'm sure that had nothing to do with my formative upbringing.

If they identify an "exceptional athletic ability" gene as being present in a small minority of people, should those people be made to compete in separate competitions? After all, we segregate the genders based primarily on the expression of their genetics. Perhaps we should have dozens of Olympics for people of different innate ability? After all, we have the para-Olympics based on some very dubious discrimination.

Or should the World Athletic Championship 800 Meters race simply be about who in the world can run the fastest unaided by drugs or rockets?

There's a spelling mistake in that article.

Quote:

Fixed.

Surely, if we're to properly address the issue of gender discrimination, we should ban all those things that separate the genders (apart from where safety is likely to be compromised)? Hence, no 'women's tennis', no male/female olympics etc. To ensure some degree of fairness, half of the olympic games could be traditionally feminine sports.

Rugby, sort of. It's played predominantly by sociopathic latent homosexuals, except women's rugby, which is played by females who want to be men, hey, I think there's a solution to the gender issue in there some where.

Anyway the post title is incorrect, it should read Gender Row Athlete 'Is A f u c king man'

I would suggest going and shouting that at the end of a local rugby match, see if they agree with you.

Let us know how it goes (assuming you ever gain control of your own fingers again).

F u c k that, I didn't say they were soft or anything, it's just that they like fingering each others ring pieces and biting ears off in the scrum.

If I did what you suggested it would be more likely my anus I never regained control of.

I’ve had to park for someone else occasionally. As for the b/w Skoda one - how in the name of all that is lovely can you get that wrong?
