As long as he doesnt get into a ping pong between Apple and Best buy over who is responsible the Im sure it will be quickly sorted out now its gone public.

When I saw the headline I thought: "Oooh, Apple has started reselling the Mac Portable, aka the Mac Luggable".

I thought it was one of my better headlines (not that the competition is particularly intense). Not as good as the last line though.

There is an expression Down Under "to s*it a brick", which would make the headline rather interesting indeed. :D

 See, my knowledge of old Apple kit meant my first thought was of brick in relation to the Portable.

You know what, it came in an Apple box, with an Apple logo on it. Surely he should have guessed the price he paid was just for the box? :P

There seems to be lots of similar stories to this about just now, XBox 360 box shipped with rock in it, Wii shipped with piece of wood in it ? Presumably lot sof this stuff comes out of the same factory and some 'Saboteurs' are replacing the gadgets with things like this for a laugh.
