No, from the way it's written I think it just means ten minutes past the scheduled time. |

But you can't usually claim any sort of compensation until it's at least 30 minutes overdue (at least on intercity routes). |

You can’t (although there are moves to try and move it to 15 mins) That is why he used Consumer Law rather than the train companies T&C. That is a weighted a lot more in favour of the consumer over companies You generally can’t (in the UK) sign your rights away. There would be no point in having consumer law if every shop said that by buying something from us you agree to waive your rights |
