Tragic event. It has been the main news topic on all programs here.

How the heck did he manage to carry so many guns into a hotel?

He lived relatively locally (about 80 miles away) so he probably drove there. Which means it would have been easy to transport everything in luggage bags. Having been to Vegas, it's not unusual to see taxis pulling up with loads of suitcases (often complete matching sets). Hell, the bellboys probably carried them up for him.

I'm slightly surprised the hotels don't have metal detectors on the entrances (I guess it might just be for the casino parts).

So, how long until someone suggests the solution is mooaarrrr guns? I doubt Trump is going to do anything to improve gun control.

Speaking at the White House, he (Trump) said he would look at gun laws "as times goes by" but he did not elaborate.

In other words he'll wait until it's not headline news then forget about it.

There was an interesting story on the BBC, tracking the last 2 decades of Trump's thoughts on gun control. He was against easy access to guns and actually supported Obama's view point, until 2015, when he started running for the Republican Party, when, suddenly, he was following their policy lines of not wanting to restrict people's rights to bear arms (and arm bears  ).

aahh you people got to stop reading misleading news and newspapers, I cant believe people are still reading into that propaganda nonsense. there were multiple shooters, one had a belt fed type machinegun another some form of assault rifle. the "lone shooter" was likely a decoy or the person intended to take all the blame etc, theres multiple videos I have seen which Facebook quickly deleted (I wonder why) of 100% confirms multiple differant types of guns going off. may of even been 3 or more shooters even...

if anyone wants to see the videos of multiple shooters PM me, cant post here...

So stuff on the news is obviously fake but random stuff on FB is obviously true.
If there were multiple shooters what is the lizard overlords motivation for covering it up?

Well, I’m open to the suggestion that he had help. One does not simply walk into a hotel with a pile of suitcases full of the kind of arsenal that a small army would be keen to get its hands on alone. Certainly, questions of the girlfriend who apparently saw nothing suspicious in this build up of weapons need to be asked.

By the sound of it he was a relatively wealthy individual so I suspect him showing up with a large number of suitcases wouldn't necessarily have aroused suspicion, in fact I imagine the hotel staff were only to happy to transport them to his room (for a suitable tip).
Not sure about Nevada specifically but I doubt having an extensive gun collection if you've got the cash for it raises many eyebrows either.

I'm not sure a 'bump stock', such a high elevation and rate of fire etc equates to what he managed to do tbh. My first thought on the casualty number and firing audio was a belt-fed gun. It's just something I can't shake :|

re: bump stocks. It's modified stock that allows a semi-auto rifle to be fired at a similar RPM to a full-auto, so I imagine it'd sound an awful lot like a belt-fed weapon. IIRC their legality was already in question since full-auto is actually banned in America for civilian use, but the NRA are discussing bump stocks so likely to be banned soon.
