The strategy should have been reviewed long before this.

Or "I'm going to use this to push through loads of laws that will have a negligible effect on terrorism but will make everybody slightly less free and slightly less happy because I'm a massively incompetent control freak".

Oh and "We've stopped campaigning out of respect for those who have been killed and injured, but maybe there are some people round here who are too soft on terrorism? Hmmm? You know, lives in Islington, has a beard, like to talk about peace a lot? Hmm? Not that we're saying anything political, of course. That would be disrespectful."

It's a weird thing to 'hope' someone has dementia, but in Trump's case, yeah.

We can probably expect to see even less of the PM if that gets traction.

I work literally 2 mins from the market. It's been a difficult time - we worked from home a couple of days but when we did come in Tuesday it took ages to get through the police cordon. We were evacuated at lunchtime that day as they didn't have enough police to check all the office workers in and out. Borough Market will be closed this weekend so we still don't know when things will be back to normal.

Except Butt had a lot more links going on than that, including a network linked to Lee Rigby's killer. It should be looked at by an outside force bare minimum, and MI5 could have a chat with the ISC at least, not that that wouldn't be the usual stitch-up...

I spoke to one of the security guards who was at the scene when it happened last night. Hearing it all first hand was truly horrific and I got quite emotional. Everyone involved showed such bravery.
Very sad :(

I am happy to report there was a massive turn out of people there and the atmosphere was great.
