It's a small thing, but I predict that sort of phrasing will appear in a much more serious article and get the Beeb into trouble. It's happening all the time now. I mean I haven't taken that out of context or anything, and there's no couching or explanation whatsoever.

The BBC are already making statements of 'fact' in heavily disputed cases around Trump, for instance, online. By which I mean, no 'allegedly' or 'claimed' present. And I've even seen a few articles where the wording was... possibly a mistake, but looked implied to mean one thing only. That's a really bad habit, and the government and the right wing press scum will be all over it when it blows up.

It seems they might have to relearn that fiasco with Laura and Jeremy in the online space.

1. I've always had Weetabix with hot milk. No idea why. Just the way my parents prepared it for themselves and thus for us. We would mix it and it would be like runny porridge. However, I haven't had weetabix since my school days.
2. Weetabix has a high GI, meaning it causes a surge in your blood sugar in the same way Coco Pops does. I advise my diabetic patients to avoid Weetabix.

That's interesting. For some reason I thought it would be low - I tend to associate high fibre with low GI.

It surprised me too. IIRC cornflakes, weetabix and cocopops are all in the same "high" GI category.
