Apropo, the radio 4 'Inside Science' show this week (podcast version available here) had a fascinating interview with a scientist working on the biochemisty of Alzheimers. |

It does make you wonder about timeframes for medical progress now, and how many people will be affected in the meantime. The brain cancer that killed my granddad in the 70s probably could have been nullified by the 80s, for instance. |
