Good for him.
As an immigrant myself, just not in Britain, I can say that he is talking sense.
Luckily I have only met positive reactions to me being an immigrant, but I have also met a lot of other immigrants from southern and eastern lands and seen the abuse they get. It seems that I don't count, because I'm educated, nope, wait, some of my immigrant friends are doctors or scientists and better qualified than me, but that doesn't seem to stop the hate, but because I look, more-or-less, like a local, I don't get tainted with the same brush.
I have a lot of family and friends here, all of whom are really great. Yet some of them bash on about immigrants, until I point out that I am one of them, then the conversation goes a bit quite for a while.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-37962425Loving this, one or two more and the rest will start to question their own image/PR. Then even the Mail and the like will have to question itself. The Daily Star is pretty much a collection of enormous ads and the odd photo. A front page ad for Lidl was bigger than Trump's winning of the presidency! I thought maybe the giant orange carrot was symbolic or something, but I think someone needs to have a word with Lidl too....
