EU set to demand less House of Cards, more Nordic Noir on Netflix | TechRadar http://www.techradar.com/news/televisio ... ix-1321736 I honestly don't know what to think about that, mu gut reaction is it feels like a step too far (I didn't even know it was a thing). I don't watch European drama because I've absolutely no need to between national and American programmes. And since I've already chosen Netflix and the like in a competitive market, I don't like that they should be made to spend money that could go towards shows the vast majority of Europeans actually want! |

Amazon Prime has plenty of local and European content, although I wouldn't want to put a percentage on it. That said, there are some great Nordic series and films out there. The Wallander series is very good (not the Kenneth Brannagh version). |
