David Cameron in 'cloud cuckoo land' over encrypted messaging apps ban

I mean, I'm aware that pretty much every politician doesn't know a packet sniffer from a back scrubber but I'd be happier if they weren't so keen on demonstrating the fact.

Sometimes I wonder if he intentionally creates a backlash so that it's taken out of his hands. Even the security services must be shaking their heads otherwise.

At the very least I'd expect one, if not more, of his kids to give him a swift kick in the nuts for suggesting a ban on phone messaging apps they probably use.
