Don't overreact. The judgment reported there is that under certain specific circumstances, such as workplace discrimination, the rationale that impels disability protection is sufficiently inclusive to protect other things which are not technically disabilities as such.

It is not a declaration that my inability to not eat pies is a disability.

So if I'm too fat to fit through a chopper window?

Not an issue now as all the mk 1 Puma's have been retired. Back when they were flying I doubt even anorexics would have fitted through the rear window on one of those things. A submerged ditching would have guarenteed the death of the six people in the back section of a mk 1 Puma. The mk 2 has a much bigger rear window.

Well the guideline has always been about employers making "reasonable adjustment" for those with disabilities. I'm guessing having to replace an entire helicopter fleet would probably not be mandated under the "reasonableness" aspect.

Being obese isn't a disability. It can be disabling, but that's an entirely different issue.
