A slightly different football auction appeared on Ebay.
Tranmere Rovers found itself up for sale with starting bids of $10 million. Though apprently there wasnt any additional cost for postage or packaging :lol:

I hate the word "eBay" - it seems wrong. It is a proper noun, and thus surely have a capitalised 'E'?

In the same way as the iPhone, iTunes, iPod, iSuppli, eBuyer, etc. do?
They are all trademarks, rather than nouns in the purest sense.

Well, I think it's a bit 5 years ago, tbh. I'd be surprised if anyone's going to set anything up using the same naming convention these days. Like you, I feel it's a bit tired these days.
