I've not read the clicky, but in response to the question in the thread title - disaster recovery is pretty compelling.

DR. Interesting I don't tend to virtualise DR, I virtualise resilience, fail over, on demand capacity etc, but tend to use hardware servers in a separate data centre for DR.
