I'm in danger of repeating myself...

It's a real shame, because I shall be in Dorset that weekend. Otherwise, I'd definitely be down the High Street peacefully protecting my right to photograph anything in a public place.

I don't know what's happening to this country. Are we wilfully walking into a submissive police state, or are we just too apathetic to do anything about it now?

Er it's not illegal to film the Police. Police Fail.

These Constables DO go to Police College right? Do they teach UK law there?

I suggest anyone who doesn't agree with this sort of behaviour bungs some money Liberty's way.

who deleted my post? :x half of cops are mason weirdos anyway so thats why they have a fear of cameras. cowards. when I met the grandmaster ouside the masonic lodge in my town his mason minions ran back inside when they saw my camera :lol: nothing but little cowards :mrgreen:

I once again find myself getting angry. However, it's not just at Kent police, who are clearly a bunch of assholes. It's at whoever called it in and the government for making that person fearful enough to do so.

Who are these people?! If I see someone walking down my street taking photos, will I be interested? Yes. Would I call the police? Absolutely not! Whether I had a problem with it or not, I would most likely go and talk to them and show an interest in what they're doing. This culture of "if it's unusual - it must be terrorism" has got to stop. This is what the Hitler Youth started with kids "telling" on their mates and parents and families etc. It's unacceptable. The 5-0 are not a replacement for the community.

I'm certainly not in that group. I would dearly love to join the protest, but Chatham is just too far away for me to make it. Probably just as well, because no doubt I'd get arrested for taking photos :twisted:
