Welcome by the way Barry!

Were you commanded over here to try and claw some users back over to Dennis towers?

Whatever the reason he is here, and given the recent events which really don't need bringing up again, I'm going to say it's great to have you here Barry, and don't take the random swearing in the old place personally.

That's it. No more talk of that please. And now back to the news...

RIM, manufacturer of BlackBerry smartphones, has warned employers not to let staff use personal mobile devices for work purposes.

Last comment on this issue, I promise.

I wasn't commanded from on high to post on these forums - I messaged Tim and Saspro last night, to ask if they would mind if PC Pro staff posted news stories on the forums to help fill them out a bit, and they said they were happy for us to do so.

I've enjoyed reading and reacting to your posts over the years - indeed we use many of your comments in the mag. I hope we can continue to do so.

Last comment... No chance, bound to be more on the subject - you must know what this lot are like by now ;)

Welcome over Barry and cheers for posting the stories - I was missing making some remarks about them 8-)

As for the story, "Well, they would say that, wouldn't they" Marketing excercise - "Buy our product, or your secrets wont be safe"

Although, they do have a point, too - why issue Blackberries (Blackberrys? Can't remember the conclusion we came to on that) if your staff just use their own 'phones anyway?
