I remember reading an article years ago that suggested Mandela would have overseen (if not participated in) some horrific acts by the Umkhonto we Sizwe, the ANC's military wing. And the article was talking about what the Umkhonto we Sizwe did to it's own people, never mind the enemy, going as far as suggesting that in karma terms, Mandela deserved his time inside. However the article did say it was obviously hard to prove these claims, especially with Mandela being continually lauded by the mainstream. Google certainly doesn't shed much light on it in my experience...
Anyone know anything more about/around that? It's always just stuck in my mind
