It's a nettle they'll eventually have to grasp because you only have to read the likes of Private Eye to realise they're still fitting people up, never mind NotW payments to senior detectives, intimidating and abusing victims and suspects, sex assaults... They couldn't even be trusted to arrest someone as high profile as Charlie Richardson away back in the 60s ffs.

Yes and from what I remember they even had officers under suspicion for various crimes even and up to contract killings.
